  • Work with the general contractor and affected trade partners to develop coordinated, constructible solutions
  • Participate in and/or lead BIM/VDC coordination meetings with the general contractor, design team, VDC teams, fabricators, erectors and trade partners
  • Develop and maintain 3D site logistics models and plans and 3D lift planning models and visualizations for major equipment and fabricated assemblies
  • Produce accurate, coordinated, and constructible digital models and supporting information while working closely with a variety of stakeholders including project teams, GCs, suppliers and trade partners, architects, and engineers
  • Establish, maintain and improve coordination, modeling and quality-control standards
  • Identify incomplete, conflicting, or unclear design and coordination information and work with project stakeholders to develop RFIs, proposed solutions, or other clarifications
  • Act as the technical link between design intent, BIM coordination, Spire Solutions operations, fabrication, logistics and field installation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for fabrication coordination, multi-trade coordination and BIM execution while providing technical direction, training, and mentoring
  • Work with VDC team, Spire Solutions and project leadership to find opportunities for continuous improvement, standardization, automation and wider use of model data

What We’re Looking For:

    • 4+ years of experience in steel modeling and coordination, fabrication detailing, VDC/BIM coordination, or a related construction and fabrication role
    • Experience supporting active fabrication operations and field installation is strongly preferred
