The Weitz Company values internships and co-ops as integral parts of our company. Many of our employees started out as interns and have built a career with us. Our programs provide you with experience that you won't find in the classroom. You will receive hands-on work experience and professional development, attend team events, and learn how to Build a Better Way.

Operations
Building innovative projects is at the core of what we do. Students majoring in construction, engineering, and more can gain real-world experience on a project site or in a local office. Whether you're interested in a career in Project Management or Supervision, interning with our Operations team allows you to build a strong foundation in construction. Operations interns often join the company as Project Engineers or Field Engineers upon graduating.
Professional Services
In addition to Operations, we hire interns for a variety of different teams to help support the company and keep things running smoothly. Students majoring in Accounting, Marketing, VDC, Information Technology, and more can find internship opportunities at one of our offices nationwide.

Peer Partner
You will be paired with an individual in a similar job function who will provide support, help you learn, and provide a great experience throughout your internship.
Meaningful Job Assignments
You will have the opportunity to make your mark on the company and get valuable, hands-on experience. Our internships are designed to give you a realistic preview of what your career with Weitz could look like.
Training
Interns receive on-the-job training, access to online courses, and mentorship from our team of talented professionals.
Networking Events
Throughout your internship you will be invited to participate in a variety of events which will give you the opportunity to you meet other interns, meet our team, get into the community, and live our company culture.
Competitive Pay
Interns receive a competitive hourly rate. All returning interns will receive a pay increase.
